Elemi is steam distilled from the resin and is native to the Philippines. Elemi has a peppery aroma with lemon top notes. It is a distant relative of frankincense and was used by the Egyptians for embalming.

• Add 1 to 2 drops to a cotton ball and inhale deeply when you have a lot of phlegm
• Add 3 to 4 drops to an essential oil necklace to inhale throughout the day to combat stress and calm nerves
• Add 1-2 drops to a bowl of steaming water to help expel mucous

Non-toxic and non-irritating unless the oil is oxidized. Take care when storing elemi making sure to keep it in a cool, dark location with the cap on tight. As with all essential oils, do not use on the skin undiluted.

Animals are sensitive to essential oils, especially cats and smaller furry friends. Never put essential oils on cats or other small pets fur. When using essential oils with dogs or other animals consult a holistic vet for advice on how to use them safely.

Wrinkle Soother

• 1 ounce jojoba oil
• 2 drops elemi essential oil
• 2 drops frankincense essential oil
• 2 drops myrrh essential oil

Take the lid off your 1 ounce jojoba oil. Add essential oil drops. Cap and shake. Apply once or twice daily to wrinkles taking care to not get it in the eyes. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic so it won't clog pores and is gentle on sensitive skin.
